According to City of Perth web site they might cancel fireworks 2021 on Australia day due to COVID-19.
Based on recommendations from the City’s administration in Agenda Briefing item 6.13, Commissioners are to consider not going ahead with Skyworks 2021 due to COVID-19 uncertainties related to mass gatherings and the possibility for second-wave infections to occur into late 2020.
Also it need more than 10months to plan so it started event preparation if it is usual.
